Enterprise Resource Planning



ERP Systems are integrated computer-based systems used to manage all the issues within company. ERP Systems are used to manage internal and external resources, including tangible assests, financial resources, materials and human resources. From a technical point of view, ERP is a software architecture whose purpose to facilitate the information flow between all business functions inside the boundaries of the organisation and manage the connections to outside stakeholders. Built on centralized database and normally utilizing a common computing platform, ERP Systems consolidate all business operations into a uniform and enterprise-wide system environment.



The ERP system is considered a vital organizational tool because it integrates varied organizational systems and facilitates error-free transactions and production. However, ERP system development is different from traditional systems development. ERP systems run on a variety of computer hardware and network configurations, typically using a database as an information repository.
